A Grateful Reader
"Five years ago, Steven, I found myself divorced and flat broke, with only a high school education, and no work history to speak of. I was in a place of fear, with a strong need to control. Finances were often a choice between putting gas in my car or food on the table. These years were very hard on me, and last October I was finally worn out.
Then I went to the Unity church in town and saw your book on the reading table. I bought the book, read it, chose to "go with the flow" and went to your seminar the following Sunday. Your lecture confirmed many of the things I was feeling, and was a powerful confirmation for me of the path I was finally on. I cannot explain the power of the coincidences I saw in this sequence of events, but I knew without a doubt that I was going to be okay.
As I was walking to my car after your lecture my cell phone rang. There was a message for a job interview that led within a week to a position with more money. A month after that, I got another request for a job interview, with even better pay, amazing people, and an incredible working environment. It was my dream job!
By this time I was paying close attention to the many “coincidences” that were coming my way in rapid succession. I saw that God was not just whispering to me, but almost talking out loud. What fun!
Then, a week after my dream job started I met the man of my dreams—the man that I had asked God to send me. Although he lives in Arizona, something felt right on many levels. We started communicating long distance, and we both quickly realized that we had found our soul mates.
In two weeks I will be moving to Arizona where we will share a fabulous new life together, and a fabulous new home—a home that this incredible man bought a week before we met, because he just “felt” he needed a bigger house! Divine guidance at work again!
